Universal Parameters

How to use

  1. Click on text hyperlink to reveal the description.
  2. Or, use search bar for filtering out specific words.
  3. These universal parameters are for suggestion only and may vary differently based on rigging style.

INPUT PARAM:

Most input params do not have keyforms (aka empty parameters),
they are used for driving output param in physics settings.
Often used in adding delay to simulate more natural looking motion when character moves.

HEAD input

ANGLE X
ANGLE Y
ANGLE Z

BODY input

Body XYZ (empty) is controlled by head Angle XYZ (empty).
Then use these empty body XYZ as input, to trigger other following movements in physics.

BODY X
BODY Y
BODY Z

Special ones: Body Position Movements

POS X
POS Y
POS Z

OUTPUT PARAM:

Out parameters are the one with actual keyforms. They are triggered by input parameter in physics settings.

HEAD output

ANGLE X

ANGLE Y

ANGLE Z

Attention

"XXX Blend" is blendshape param for enhancing perspective depths when head turns.
See more examples on twitter: Blendshape Depth Enhancement Refs
Use blendshape with discretion as they may get unwanted result in certain angles / given parameter value.
Use blendshape weight to restrict blendshape keyforms on given parameter value range for better fine tuning.

BODY output

Bullet points indicate they have relevance to each other. To check how a physics reaction chain between head and body movements works, click on BODY hyperlink.

FACE

For instant facial tracking results:

Some parameters such as mouth forms, have keyforms and linked directly inside Vtube Studio. Use smoothing slider in VTS or delay in Vbridger to manually adjust how long you want the delay based on facial mocap result.

Empty ones for adding some delay in physics:

mouth Pucker Widen
Mouth X
eyebrow Y

Below shows all face parameter with keyforms. Bullet points below each category/parameter indicates there is a relevance between them that needs attention when rigging such parameter.

Mouth Open Y

Mouth X out

Cheek Puff
Tongue Out
